Where is the Frost Talus in Coldsnap Hollow? ›

He'll tell Link that he saw a Frost Talus at Coldsnap Hollow. So off you go towards the Hebra Mountains (see video). The Frost Talus is at the bottom of the ravine.

Location: This Shrine is located beneath a natural stone shelter directly north of the Coldsnap Hollow and northwest of the Hebra East Summit labels on the map. It is right next to the Selfie's Spot cabin.

The aim of this Shrine is to get the orb on the ground into the recess that's gated off in the centre of the level. To do this, you must throw it into the path of wind turbines, working its way round the outside, until it drops down.

If you wear all three pieces of the Snowquill Armor Set and have upgraded them twice, you will get the Unfreezable set bonus. This renders you immune to the Frost Talus' ice-based effects. The best way to take down any Talus is to climb up onto its back and attack the ore deposit that you'll find attached there.

Location: Kam Urog Shrine is located just past Fort Hateno, but can only be opened by solving The Cursed Statue Shrine Quest. Speak to Calip in the hut nearby to start the quest, and go up the path into a canyon on the left to find an area full of statues.

Use fire-based weapons or light a few campfires (with flint and wood) next to the ice to thaw it and reveal the shrine.

Use Ultrahand to grab the large ice block and dip it briefly in the columns of flames on the other side of the room to melt it so that it's small enough to fit into the button's alcove. Place the ice block on the button to open the gate. Next, ride the air current up the long room to the higher platform.

If you manage to push through and complete all 120 Shrines, though, you'll be rewarded with the Hero of the Wild clothing set at the Forgotten Temple.

Completing all 152 shrines in Tears of the Kingdom will unlock the Ancient Hero's Aspect, an armor item that spans head, body, and leg gear. When you complete the final shrine, you'll receive a message that tells you to “make your way to the Temple of Time” and that “you shall find a suitable reward for your efforts.”

There are 120 Shrines to find and complete in the base game, with 17 more in the DLC. In this guide we're focusing on how to find every Shrine, we'll leave completing them up to you. If you do manage to find and complete all 120 Shrines in the base BOTW game, you will unlock a final side quest in the Forgotten Temple.
