PickleCon 2024 in Kansas City kicked off with a dynamic inaugural day, as had honor & pleasure to moderate panel discussion on the transferability of skills from various sports to pickleball. The panel consisted of sports luminaries turned pickleball enthusiasts, including Gehrig Dieter, Super Bowl champion and Strategic Partnership Coordinator at Chicken-N-Pickle; Marcellus Wiley, 10-year NFL veteran and sports media broadcaster and investor in California Smash Pickleball; Dave Davlin, former NBA player and Guinness World Record holder, now a keynote speaker and inventor of the Spot On PB Training Device; Kramer Sneed, baseball all-star turned pickleballer and PB Manager at Char Bar; and Matt Beavers, elite soccer champion now affiliated with Chicken-N-Pickle.
