Stopping a crowd of hundreds of people is a tall order to ask of any event security. In a day and age where if you have money you can reach out and touch your favorite athlete makes it difficult to control a crowd that has potential to turn into a mob.It’s really about the physical security barriers between the crowd and the athletes.
